1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to define the fundamental principles required for the secure management of processes in artificial intelligence projects under defined conditions.
2. Responsibilities
All information systems teams, project team members and personnel authorised to operate these systems are responsible for the implementation of this policy.
3. Implementation
At Tecmony we undertake to deliver our artificial intelligence based products and services in accordance with customer agreements, legal requirements and relevant standards; to manage the risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence; and to continually improve our service processes.
Accordingly:
- We identify and manage the intended use, foreseeable misuse or abuse, and the technical, operational and ethical risks in all service processes involving artificial intelligence.
- We regularly monitor and improve the performance, reliability and effectiveness of artificial intelligence systems.
- We ensure that the infrastructure, software and support organisation underpinning our artificial intelligence services are available, reliable and continuous at a level that meets business objectives.
- We manage the infrastructure, software, data and human resource costs of our artificial intelligence services in a measurable and traceable manner, and present the supporting analyses to senior management for investment decisions.
- We record and prioritise incidents and problems relating to artificial intelligence systems and resolve them within defined periods, minimising the impact of service interruptions.
- We carry out risk and impact assessments taking into account the possible effects of artificial intelligence systems on individuals, customers, employees and society, and we apply additional controls and monitoring for high-risk systems.
- We take transparency, accountability and compliance with ethical principles as the basis for our use of artificial intelligence.
- We treat environmental sustainability, sensitivity to climate change and social responsibility as an integral part of our approach to artificial intelligence management.
- We continually improve the Artificial Intelligence Management System in line with performance results, feedback and assessments.
This policy establishes the basic framework for the Tecmony Artificial Intelligence Management System and is supported by senior management.
