Campaigns and live chat on the official WhatsApp Business API

WaSend is a WhatsApp marketing and customer communication platform: it sends approved templates to thousands of people and lets you answer the replies on the same screen. Bulk sending and one-to-one conversation live in one product; campaigns, contact lists, templates and delivery reports sit in the same panel.

What sets it apart from our other WhatsApp products is the infrastructure. WaSend does not run through a phone paired by QR code; it runs on a business account verified by Meta. Templates go through Meta approval and Meta’s conversation fees are billed separately. In return you get a verified profile, high volume and official delivery reports.

Delivered campaign messages on a phone with a verified business badge

Who it is for

Who gets the most out of it?

Brands with high campaign, announcement and notification volume that want to appear to customers under a verified business profile and do not want to lose the replies. Template categories follow those three jobs: marketing, utility and authentication.

E-commerce and retail

Discounts, new products and event announcements reach a wide audience through an approved template; when an interested customer replies, the conversation turns into live chat in the inbox.

Organisations that send notifications

Order confirmations, shipping status, appointment reminders and payment notices go out as utility templates with delivery reports. Verification codes have their own category.

Customer service teams

The questions that follow a campaign are not lost. Conversations are assigned to agents and tracked as open, pending or closed; new messages appear on screen instantly.

Capabilities

What can you do with WaSend?

From getting a template approved by Meta to answering the replies, every step of a WhatsApp campaign in one panel.

Template management and Meta approval

You create message templates in the panel, submit them to Meta and follow their status: draft, pending, approved, rejected. Marketing, utility and authentication categories are kept apart, and each template can carry several language versions.

Bulk campaign sending

You send an approved template to a chosen audience. A campaign moves from draft through ready, scheduled and sending; large lists are processed in batches and can be paused and resumed. Campaigns can be scheduled for a later date.

Inbox and live chat

Replies to a campaign collect in a single inbox in the panel. A conversation is assigned to an agent and tracked as open, pending or closed. New messages and status changes appear without reloading the page.

The 24-hour conversation window

You may write free-form text for 24 hours after the customer’s last message. WaSend tracks the window per conversation and shows it in the panel; when someone tries to send free text into a closed conversation it blocks the attempt and says a template is required.

Contacts and lists

Contacts are added manually, by CSV file or through the API, then tagged and grouped. Each contact carries an opt-in status and a phone status and can be blacklisted. A campaign can target the whole list, a tag, an uploaded file or a manual selection.

Delivery and read reporting

Every message is tracked individually: queued, sent, delivered, read, failed. Campaign results are reported on those statuses, and the reports page lets you look at them by period.

Automation and workflows

Workflows run on a trigger event and are managed as draft, active or passive. Repetitive jobs such as a welcome message stop needing a person.

API and webhooks

To add contacts and trigger messages from your own system you generate an API key and call the documented v1 endpoints. Events return to your system through webhooks, and requests are verified by signature.

Role-based permissions

Owner, administrator, operator and viewer roles are defined. Who may launch a campaign and who may only view is set up to match your organisation.

Panel in three languages

The interface is available in Turkish, English and Arabic. Because templates can be defined in several languages too, the same campaign can run in different languages.

Mobile app

With the iOS and Android app the inbox is followed away from the desk and answered from the field.

Encrypted storage

Phone, name and email fields are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a separate key per business. Search runs through blind indexes that work without decrypting the data. Real-time event payloads carry no personal data.

How it works

Five steps from application to the first campaign

The price of the official route is paperwork and approval. The steps run in this order; the second and third depend on Meta’s timing.

  1. Application and numberYou tell us the number you want to use and your business details. The number must not already be linked to another WhatsApp account.
  2. Business verificationA business account is opened on Meta’s side and verification is carried out. Unlike the linked-device products this step involves paperwork and approval; the timing depends on Meta’s review.
  3. Template approvalYour first message templates are created in the panel and submitted. Approved templates become ready to send; language versions can be added to each.
  4. Contacts and teamYour contact lists are imported by CSV or API and tagged. Your users are defined with their roles.
  5. First campaign and inboxThe approved template goes to the chosen audience and the delivery report is followed. Replies are distributed to agents in the inbox.

Screens

Screenshots are taken from the live environment; customer data is masked.

Campaigns

Approved template, chosen audience, delivery counters

Each row in the campaign list shows its status, audience and sending counters. A large list is split into batches; the pause and resume buttons sit on the same row.

Inbox

Replies land on an agent, with the window timer beside them

Conversation list and assigned agent on the left, the conversation on the right. When the 24-hour window has closed, the free-text box locks and the template picker opens.

Templates

Write the template, add language versions, submit to Meta

The template builder takes category, language and variables; a phone preview sits on the right. Approval status shows as a label in the list.

Limits

What WaSend does not do

The limits you should know before buying. Most of them are rules of the official API rather than of the product.

  • It does not speed up Meta approval. Business verification and template approval are granted on Meta’s side; Tecmony cannot commit to a timeline.
  • It does not send free text outside the 24-hour window. Once the window closes, contact is re-established only with an approved template. The system enforces the rule; it does not bend it.
  • It does not remove Meta’s conversation fees. Sending is subject to Meta’s conversation-based pricing and is billed separately on usage.
  • It does not collect consent. The person must have given prior consent naming your business; collecting it, and its legal compliance, is your responsibility.
  • Tecmony does not set the daily tier. New accounts open at Meta’s starting tier; the tier rises or shrinks with your quality rating. That is why permission-based lists and a low complaint rate matter.
  • It is not a channel for sensitive data. Payment card numbers, financial account details and national ID numbers must not be shared over it, nor requested from customers.
  • Service continuity is at Meta’s discretion. Tecmony facilitates WhatsApp processes and cannot be held responsible for a restriction applied to an account.

Frequently asked

Questions people ask before deciding

For a question that is not here, write to us. If another route fits better: WADesk to start without paperwork, WASMS to send from your own software on the linked-device route, WAGEM for archiving only. The comparison is on the WhatsApp Products page.

Do we need a WhatsApp Business account?

Yes. WaSend works over the official WhatsApp Business API, not through a device paired by QR code. Meta verifies your number and your business account is opened; that step involves paperwork and approval. The number you want to use must not already be linked to another WhatsApp account.

How long does template approval take?

You create templates in the panel, submit them to Meta and follow their status there. The timing depends on Meta’s review; because the decision sits with Meta, Tecmony cannot commit to a timeline. Approved templates become ready to send.

How many messages can we send per day?

Meta sets the limit and it depends on your business account’s tier. New accounts start at 1,000 unique recipients per day and the tier rises automatically on accounts with a good quality rating. If the rating drops the tier can shrink, which is why permission-based lists and a low complaint rate matter.

Who handles the replies to a campaign?

Replies are not lost; they collect in the inbox, are assigned to an agent and answered one to one. Conversations are tracked as open, pending or closed, and new messages appear instantly. With the iOS and Android app the inbox can be followed from the field as well.

Can we send a free-form message to a customer whenever we want?

No. Under WhatsApp Business API rules you may exchange free-form text only if the customer has written to you within the last 24 hours. WaSend tracks the window per conversation and shows it in the panel; when someone tries to send free text into a closed conversation it blocks the attempt and asks for a template.

Can we integrate it with our own system?

Yes. You generate an API key in the panel, add contacts and trigger messages through the documented v1 endpoints, and delivery and inbound events come back to your system through webhooks. If a direct API on the linked-device route would also serve you, look at WASMS as well; the difference between the two is the infrastructure.

How is our contact data stored?

Phone, name and email fields are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a separate key per business. Search runs through blind indexes that work without decrypting the data. Sensitive data such as payment card and ID numbers should never travel on this channel at all.

Is it WhatsApp only, or are there other channels?

WhatsApp is the primary channel. Because the platform is built multichannel, SMS, Telegram and email can be opened on the same campaign and inbox structure. Which channels are enabled on your account is decided with you.
